1960 Saw Jack acting as Chairman of a banquet and rally for his good friend, Governor Albert Rosellini.

Several thousand (about 5,000) backers filled Seattle's Civic Auditorium for a banquet, rally, and speeches, culminating in a statewide radio and television broadcast by the Governor.

Additional rallies were held around the state including one in Spokane about a day later at the same time as the State Democrats met to select U.S. Senator John F. Kennedy as their Presidential choice.
