So which one of these geniuses was responsible for having drivers leave the southbound lanes of Interstate 5 to the floating bridge on the "fast" or left-most lanes and the on-ramp from Mercer four  lanes away from the off-ramp to the new floating bridge only about a miler later? Oh, well, I guess traffic wasn't as heavy in the early 60's.
