Jack Gordon named Assistant Director of Athletics
at Seattle University

The appointment of Jack Gordon as assistant director of athletics at Seattle University was announced today by Willard M. Fenton, athletic director.

Gordon will retain his former title as athletic publicity director.

Fenton said the move was made to keep in step with an enlarged athletic program at Seattle U.

Gordon is best known in Seattle as chairman and greeter of the Korea War Veterans Welcome Committee.

Seattle University joined the ranks of major colleges on the NCAA basketball listings last season for the first time.
