Starting early with the reading is John.  In a photo dated by Roberta Gordon as Summer, 1955, he's sitting in the backyard at 6825.

Yowzah! Pretty rustic stage. Developed in Sept '59. (My goodness, that's almost over 50 years ago...)  The Coca Cola Stage on Main Street in Disneyland.
