Seafair is Summer in Seattle
And the winner is ?????
Someone should have been shot or hung or something for the composition of this picture.
We're probably looking at bits of Bill Stead, driver of the Maverick, U-00, winner of the 1959 Gold Cup hiding behind the metal framing. (Anyone care to move the scaffolding so we could be sure?) On his right could be William Waggoner, of Phoenix, Ariz., owner of the Maverick.
On the left (in baseball-style cap) is Jack Gordon from Greater Seattle and on the right is Gov. Al Rosellini from when governors cared. It looks like the "Skipper" to Jack's right (our left) in blue.
